ANTI BULLYING WEEK
“Be a Buddy Not a Bully”
Bullying is repeated intentional behaviour that causes harm.
Mr.Horan led a very enjoyable and informative anti-bullying week at the end of September. In our classes we carried out lots of activities aimed at educating children on what constitutes bullying behaviour. Our “Be a Buddy not a Bully” message was used throughout the week to promote pupils standing up against bullying. Our community guard Brian Mulcahy spoke to our 5th & 6th class about Cyber or Online bullying and the impact it can have on a person’s life.
Congratulations to all the winners of our poster competition who won a €15 voucher for November’s Book Fair.

GOAL Jersey Day raises €525
Our secretary Deirdre organised a very successful fundraiser for GOAL on the 11th of October. Thank you to all parents & community members for supporting this fundraiser. We raised a total of €525.00. This money went directly to GOAL to support their work with vulnerable communities to help them survive crises and support them on the road to recovery.
